Pixel shader not working?
hey,
ok i got my card driver figured out... Got them reloaded with the omega's (which kick a$$ by the way) but now that I try to run 3dmark.... both texture shaders and point sprits wont work.... odd I think... I had to repair my card cuz it crapped out on me again... (just a poped soldier ) do ya think that it might be the card f-in up? or is this a 3dmark problem..... maybe drivers are still f-ed??? Lemme know your thoughts.... Thanks

dxdiag
in dxdiag ....
I do the test for 7,8,9 dx for the little box... and 7 and 9 work fine when I do 8, the box isnt there.... what is this? it shows the logo, and it changes resolution like it should.... but no graphics... what does this mean?? I tried new drivers.... tried reloading DX.... and tweaked around some settings.... Im very confused....

sorry you couldn't get the driver/card working ok.
can't help out with this one much.but my opinion is with you now having a dx problem its looking like it could be in the need of a format and complete reinstall of windows other than a repair. just wait to see what other replys you get. thats the harsh thing from the other day as to thats looked where it were heading. thats the draw back when you loose a inf or a reg file like you seemed to of done. ps.the driver cleaner has always worked fine to me with ati. often had problems when i used to be on nvidia cards. |

nvidia does suck monkey balls
yeah, I think blows anyway.... but ya gotta live with what ya got....
And yes... I've had problems with nvidia drivers from day one. thank tho.... Im lookin at re-ins as my next option anyway.... (athough... is there a way to unistall and install dx again???) thanks Bravo

figured it out....
Ok I formated my whole damn system.... reloaded averything ti the tee... and when I run dxdiag, well dx8 test still is f-ed up.... but before i loaded dx9 I tested it with the old dx8 loaded and it worked fine.... (the dx8 test ran fine...) then loaded dx9 and it does the same damn thing!!!!! I dont get it, dx9 is somehow messing up with my card!!! tried new agp drivers.... tried old agp drivers.... new nvidia and old nvidia .... just cant pin it down... I thought MS tested these things .......?????????? anyone else have similar problems?
