??? New Graphics Cards

When's the NEW gfx cards coming out? I keep hearing about them, and to hold off buying a new card.
Since the new cards will make the current "top of the line" cards more affordable/cheaper. I've heard that
the best of the current top gfx cards is the 9800XT, but that's about $400 I've heard conflicting reports
about Nvidia's FX cards. Right now, I have a G4 Ti4200 8X card. That card looks it's on par, or a little better
than the FX cards. The 9600XT beats it when AA & AF is turned on though. But with the NEW cards
coming out. That'll make the 9800's cheaper. Maybe even enough to be in the 9600 range.

Donator
Have fun waiting. I don't see ATI releasing the new cards until the end of the year possiblity. 9600's and 9800's are fairly new and hot on the market right now. Once sales on the cards die down or nVidia is about to release a new card, that's the only way I see ATI releasing a new one.

Pissed

Won't exactly be fun, but I'll wait. When I finally purchased the Ti4200, the next month a better card came out. So, I just KNOW that when I get a 9600, the 9800's will go down in price since a new card from either ATI, or Nvidia came out.

System Specs

ummm... they'll be "officially" announced a few weeks after cebit (both ati and nvidia) - then they'll be on the shelves about a month after they are announced

Still have aways to go pricewise. When it drops down into around $150 range.
Then. That's when I'll be able to finally get one.
