Problems with GeForce Ti 4200 in Call of Duty

I have an Nvidia GeForce Ti 4200 w/ AGP8x. I was running an old driver (detonator 31.40 I believe), and I upgraded to the latest one from the Nvidia site so I could get Battlefield Vietnam to work.

BFV did work, but the new driver is causing problems with Call of Duty now. Call of Duty ran perfectly smooth before, and now it runs slightly choppy. I've tried a million things like upgrading my directx, downloading other drivers (including one from omega corner, which just made my card perform worse in CoD), doing a windows update, etc. I can't roll back to my old driver and I have no system restore checkpoints because I had to remove them due to a virus. I have a match coming up in Call of Duty on Tuesday so any help ASAP is appreciated!

At Guru3d.com u can dl nVHardpage so u can try them settings including overclocking.
did u use nvidia drivercleaner before u install to the latest nVidia display driver ? ,otherwise old files will stil exist on your computer, and the new driver will be mixed up with old and new files.
