Geforce 4 MX 440 128MB agp 8X

I have a crappy card: Geforce 4 MX 440 128MB agp 8X
Reacently I have OC this card and found out that it overclocks beatifully, now my card is OC:d to 375Mhz, from original 275Mhz. Everything runs smoothly and there are no problems what so ever. everything runs fast and perfectly, are there wrong flash inside this card, or is this just oc:s dream?

System Specs

Checked one thread in an OC forum, and it looks better than average - though perhaps the update to 8x AGP means better cores.

If it's like processor speed ranking, they'll test enough of them at the top speed and mark them accordingly, then those which didn't pass may be retested for the lower speed, alomg with those not already tested.

Did you get any more out of the RAM as well, or check the markings to see if it's considerably better than needed.

Mind you, overclocking that class of card will help with what it CAN do, but not with what it can't do or is done in software.

I didn't get anything above 525 Mhz from memory, but whith Zalman's cooler I got 460 Mhz from core! That I believe is above average.. I thought my card could be Ti or something and just flashed MX. Or I just got lucky card from store. I'll try using water cooling or heat pipes with memory to OC those too. Have any one of you had similar experiences with a card like this. I was amazed how much FPS OC:ing increased in Far Cry with antique card like MX 460..
