Trouble with Ti 4600...

So I got the Ti 4600 about 1,5 years ago, I only had it for a couple of months when strange dots started to appear on my screen. I sent it back to the store I had bought it from and it took them almost 6 months to return it to me, never ever use itbutikken.dk, I sent a couple of emails a week to them asking when I could expect my card, but they only replied two times and they never answered my question.

Anyway, after a time that seemed like an eternity I got a new card, but the funny thing is that it has started to act funny now. When I play graphic heavy games the screen flickers and sounds like it's adjusting the resolution, eventually the computer crashes.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Did they send you a new card or repare yours? I have the same card, it's been a trooper threw all the newest games. Plays them very well. I'm fixing to replace it with a 6800gt which is on order.

Crashes the computer? Uhm...you should check your BIOS settings, making sure that the card's properly set-up in there, and then, you might give a set of Omega drivers a try.

(those'd be the first 2 things I'd do if I was having your problem)

Might also be a good idea to visually inspect the card for damage.

I have tried the omega drivers, didn't work. The card worked perfectly for several months before it started to act weird, and now the computer chrashes even when I don't play games, I have borrowed an older graphics card from a friend to see if it crashes my computer too but it works fine. I haven't tried to install my card in another computer yet.

Yallrun: They sent me a new card, I'm glad to hear that yours work properly, I was beginning to think that creative had made a crappy card.
