Sid Meier's Pirates!

Hi!

I've got a problem: I just bought Pirates! and all the cutscenes are flickering and out of sync. Here's my hardware:

Pentium 4 2800MHz, GeForce FX 5200,256 MB RAM,windows xp

I've seen there's a few other topics like this but the things it says will fix the problem ( setting the performance-quality bar to performance, refresh rate override) didn't do it for me.

Can anyone please help?! It's really annoying watching them like this.

have you tired the latest / or different drivers?

Also see if V sync is on or off... try it both ways see if either helps

If you are running the game with AntiAliasing on then try turning AA off, at least until you have seen those intro videos. It seems to be a game bug.
