flickering problem
just installed the omega drivers but when I play doom 3 it get a flickering problem and its quite sluggish.
any ideas??? G |

flickering in Doom3
I had the same issue with Doom 3 until I forced Vsync ON in the video settings.
I'm also having the same problem with Rome: Total War and Vampire Masqurade: Bloodlines. Unfortunately, these two games don't have a VSYNC option in their video settings. Instead with these two, i had to go into the Direct3D settings in the Nvidia display settigns and change the VSYNC settings from "Application controlled" to "Always on" and THEN it only works if this is the first game I play after a fresh reboot. I'm using the current WHQL drivers, so I'm assuming this is some sort of bug where the driver isn't setting the default VSYNC mode properly. If you're using a ATI card, there's probably some similar setting it its display control panel to force VSYNC on. |
