eVGA 6800 Detection problems ????

I just installed my new eVGA 6800 and installed the XTremeG 67.66 (Q) drivers, all seems to be ok, under the drivers control panel the card is detected correctly 128mb memory, i ran AIDA32 v3.93 and under display GPU nothing is detected it is greyed out. I installed the latest version of Riva Tuner it said does not support these drivers and it detects the card as a 128-bit AGP NV4(1) with 32mb SDR memory, changed drivers to nVidia WHQL 66.93, same thing, another crazy thing i noticed when i boot my system my bios does not detect my video card at the start of the bootup like it did with my Ti4200 and FX5900, what's up with this

AIDA was replaced by everest home, so try that instead.

use driver cleaner pro to remove the VXG drivers and install the official 66.93s again.

Thanks MiDKnYtE, i went to that site, downloaded their program, uninstalled AIDA32 and installed Everest and ran it, it works great i got a good detection. I also realised that i had installed an older version of RivaTuner not the newest so another remove /install and it also detected my card correctly

always get the updated software before you assume there are problems. that's why they make revisions.
