BFG 6800 Ultra problem

I'm having issues with my card and frame rates.
I think it might be power related, I play Pacific fighters exclusively online. and can't maintain more than 20fps for the most part.

Cpu: Intel 3.2 HT
1024 DDR
160g HDD (3 partitions)
Mobo: Gigabyte 8I875p Ultra with Canterwood i875p chipset drivers revision2
1024x 768, with no AA, no AF
cards aperture is 256
agp set to 4x fastwrites are on.
Antec Tru 480watt psu
BFG 6800 Ultra with Nvidia 66.93 drivers
USB: Saitek x52 joystick, TrackIR 3 PRO, CH Pro pedals

everyother game runs fine, but playing online it seems to be chugging the system.. Pac Fighters is a very graphically intensive game as it draws all the textures during play. so i'm assuming the card is getting bottlenecked by the PSU.

Ideas?

new drivers don't work with pac fighters. it's not my connection i get stutters and slow downs offline too. when ever alot is happening in game my frame rate plummets.

man i've done all that, my system isn't handling it... i know my onboard soun d is a factor, but with basic hardware acceleration turned on i can maintain a playable game. so i'm changing the sound setup to a creative 7.1 simple card.

But i'm still sure my GPU plus system are using too much power... after all i never get random restarts during any other process. and with the system running all the network stuff required for online play, Plus all my usb... plus teamspeak... it seems the PSU just craps out. I used to get similar FPS with my old 9800xt with the same settings. thats just not right.

make sure you have both molex plugs plugged in... also try running power from two different lines into the card if you don't already.

I've had poor framerate problems with the BFG 6800GT OC, which is a little bit lower of a card I know. In games like HL2 and F.E.A.R. I get like 30 fps average and I'd expect this card to get a little more than that.

I've tried so many different driver sets that I don't know what to do as far as they go. I'm using the new ZeroPoint 0.7803 drivers and still no better performance.

I read where you said that you should try to plug its own molex plug into the card without sharing it with anything else, but there aren't enough power lines coming off the power supply to do that. I have an Antec TRUE430 430w power supply and I was wondering if that isn't powerful enough for my system. If you read my signature than you can see what I am running.

I hope someone has an answer because I've had this card for a year and haven't been able to find any results.

I wouldn't think you have a power issue
