5600...please help me!

So I just installed the updates driver or whatever can be DL'd and restarted my computer and all that jazz...When I tried to run Doom 3, every time that I move, my screen flashes. If that doesn't make sense, it's almost like a black sheet of paper is covering and un-covering my screen EVERY time I take a step...or for those who've played the game, when it opens with the part showing the decent to Mars, that whole movie is flashy too. Is there any way to fix this/ did I do something wrong? I appreciate any help!
=)

first off....welcome to DH .

now to business......have you tried playing the game before you installed the new drivers? if so, what drivers were you using? have you tried going back to those drivers (if you were using them) to see if that fixes the problem? does this happen with other games (newer or older games)? if it does, then it might be your gfx card that is shot. or simply, your machine cannot meet the minimum requirements for Doom 3? so you should post your other specs as well.

Yeah I agree with CDs...driver issues can cause some freaked out things...seriously I know. If your pc does have the specs then make sure you unistall your nVIDIA drivers before installing new ones...
