First off I'd like to start by saying I've heard nothing but the utmost praise for Omega Drivers. Site and software. Friends and googled websites alike.
Now to my problem. For some reason, when I install the Omega Drivers and restart my computer everything turns a weird inverted color when I log in. I've cleaned my rolled back my drivers, cleaned them, cleaned then rolled back, deleted them all together and various other combinations with the same result. This also happens when I play some games with the Forceware 77.77 drivers from Guru3D. I'm currently on a laptop with a measly 32MB nVidia Geforce 420 GO graphics card so you can see why I wan't to squeeze every last bit of power from it. I'm pretty sure the Omega Drivers support the nVidia GO series, but I can't get them to work for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Even a temporary fix would be great as in a few weeks I'll be building a custom rig with a friend of mine with a 256MB nVidia Geforce 7800GTX SLI setup. So, graphics won't be a problem then, but for now... I need serious help. Thanks beforehand. I leave my fate in your alls capable and knowledgable hands.

Ditch the omega drivers. They are quite old. I don't really know a whole lot about mobile videocard drivers, but do regular nvidia forceware drivers work? If so, i'd stick with those.

Well I fixed the startup inverted problem. I put the computer into standby and that takes care of that. Now I can run the original CoD on high settings at over 100FPS so there's no way I'm ditching the drivers now. However, I can't play CoD:UO for some strange reason. It's like some games work... and some don't.
Believe me when I say I'd be the first one to praise the Forceware drivers, especially the ones I've been using. 77.77 I believe. The only ones I know of specifically designed for nVidia GO graphics cards. One problem though. They don't run CoD at as high a framerate as the Omega drivers AND they also won't work on CoD:UO, AA and a few other games I have. I know the ultimate solution is to just get a new computer, but untill I do I'm stuck with this POS laptop and would like to suck as much power from it as humanly possible before I ship it to my dad in Iraq. He'll mostly be using it to surf online via the wireless and type up medical forms and all that so he won't be needing it for gaming purposes. If anyone knows of a higher version of Forceware that encompasses the nVidia GO series then by all means post a link so I can give them a whirl. I'm getting desperate, heh. Thanks again for your time. Man on man... why can't it be two weeks in the future already...

Give the DHZeropoints a shot, they are great drivers and support mobile cards.
