Firefox has stopped recognising (some) buttons

Firefox has stopped recognising (some) buttons on websites. On another forum, the post new thread button doesn't work but the post reply one does. When I try the ones that I say don't work, the page just loads and loads until it times out.

It's a big problem on a little-known online football (soccer) game known as Football Glory because I'm unable to change my squad.

The weird thing is, some buttons work - as you will see if this thread manages to post - and I don't understand it at all.

I've tried reinstalling it but to no avail and I'm 99% sure the same happens in Internet Explorer.

...

Aha, got it. Not the answer, but an error message:
Quote:
Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Apache/2.0.53 (Fedora) Server at footballglory.com Port 80
I found a fix on Google that said it could be a corrupted cookie so I deleted all my cookies and restarted Firefox and it didn't do anything? Now I've lost all my cookies for nothing.

I'm thinking it's go something to do with my browser settings (about:config) but I don't know what to change.

I had to post this thread on a different computer because the submit new thread and preview post buttons won't work. Stupid laptop.

Please help Hit Squad.

Reminder: the error message was 'Bad request 400. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.'

Thanks.

it has to do with javascript. you need to get into the settings and enable all javascript options.

the sad thing is that even that doesnt always fix everything, but I've found that it fixes most things. If it worked before on firefox, it'll work again.

It was already allowed.

It just seems so random, now the buttons on here are working but they're still not on most other sites.

I had a hunch that it all started when I formatted my PC (the problem is on my laptop, which connects to the internet via the PC) so I plugged my modem into my laptop and tested it then. The buttons worked perfectly. Tried again straight after using the PC as a host again - doesn't work.

Conclusion: My PC is stopping me from pressing certain buttons.

Fix: I'm stumped. Dunno what to do.

Please help.

PangingJr is just really nicePangingJr is just really nicePangingJr is just really nicePangingJr is just really nice

from google search results for '400 Bad Request' are around 13,400,000 hits, i don't really read any of them, but if you want to check it for yourself from the search results you might want to check the ones that are about what is causing your web browser to stop sending host header.

since they are so many hits, i think it must be a lot of reasons and solutions to this problem, but first try disabling all of the third-party softwares that you've installed them to protect your system, software programs likes firewall, identity blocker, pop-up blocker, local proxies, etc.
also check your internet sharing settings between the two computers, and see if this helps?
