There is incredible money to be made here but its also the worlds #1 Dangerous job, Averaging 4 deaths a year.

Would you chance doing it knowing you could make an entire years wages in less then one week?

I would say that if I had the chance I would definatelty spend a week at sea for the chance of 50-70k

I rode a Battleship from San Diego to Bering Strait and it was a harrowing experience, we didnt sleep for almost three weeks while we conducted exercises with the Canadian and Soviet Navy, we lost two boats over the side and 6 crewmen were washed overboard in the sea ( and later rescued). The sea still calls to me, but I respect her very much.
