What's the deal with Houston drivers?

[color=blue]Calling on ALL Houston drivers....[/color]

[color=blue]So, what's the deal with Houston drivers??? I'm fairly new to this town...so I am just trying to get an understanding of the driving culture here. I see a helluvalot of useless traffic congestion...I see a helluvalot of impatient, discourteous, lunatic drivers on the road (especially after the clubs get out)!!! It's a little worrisome. I guess this could be any big city...right?...but there's something about Houston drivers??? Anyone have any insight for me?[/color]

East coast has the worst drivers. Coming from a Cali driver that drives everyday on the freeway I should know what I'm tlaking about.

The East coast has the worst drivers in the world hands down.

I heard you West Coast drivers are just as bad. Running red lights while they've been red for a while. This guy my Dad worked with went to Cali for a new job and he was out driving around and stopped at the stop light. Everyone behind him started honking and cursing at him because he stopped when it turned red.

Well, in cali pretty much everyone is an asshole when they are driving. Either you cruise and pis people off or you weave and piss people off. But at least there everyone is in a hurry so no matter what you do you get to where your goin fast.

On the East Coast people just plain suck at driving. Except on the highway, I like how their highways are set up and how the slow traffic actually stays on the right. Fastest 2 lane road I've ever been on.
