Advice

Hello I am going to get a new video card and have it narrowed
to three cards Ti4600 ATI 9700 not pro and ATI 9500 pro which
Card would be the best for the buck

I suggest ATI 9500 pro. It is about equvalent to Ti4600, but costs maybe $50 less.
The 9700 non-pro is faster, but not worth the price (costs maybe 50% more, but it isn't 50% faster.)

I agree with Vamp, the 9500 pro best bang for the buck and will last you longer

No point in buying any nVidia cards now.... Just are barely squeaking by on newer games with all setting cranked up

I'm partial to the 9500 Pro, but that's cause I got to play with one and know what a sweet-assed piece of viddy hardware it is. I would truly steer clear of nVidia for a while, at least until they pull their heads out of their asses.

If you used 3dmark as a starting basis. I thought the bang for buck would goto the 9700 nonpro. Allthough the 9500pro ain't bad.

You don't honestly believe that the ti4600 is just "barely squeaking by on newer games" do you? I'm not saying that it might not (because i don't have one), but that just sounds kinda far fetched to me.
