Should I recount post counts for Gemini?

Well should we?

Gemini seems to think he's losing posts, the logs are clear nothing has been deleted.

I can have the system recount everybodies posts and give them their true post count relating to the number of posts that are actually in the database.

The downside is that people may lose posts.

So in an effort to restore Gemini to his former glory, at the sacrifce of ourselves, should I or shouldn't I?
