I met the mailman at the door to a disapointing handful of mail, but was immidietly cheered as he said "And I've got a real big box for you in the truck, you gonna be around for a few minutes?"

Oh no, it was a chockful-o-geeky-goodness! It's a new/used computer for a friend of mine that he paid for and had shipped to me so I could set it up and rig it out for him.

I've known this guy since I was 8, and we're still tight as hell even if we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like. He has really helped me out in my life before and I am looking forward to doing as nice a job as possible on this just to give him a big old phatty grin.

Well, that and I finally get to see what a GF4 ti4200 can do....at least until March 8th or 9th when he comes to pick it up.

Some cool weirdness, it came with a USB keyboard(?) and about 10 game titles....one of which I've heard of and had wanted to play; "Blade of Darkness" (Shut up! Some of us prefer hack-n-slash to guns any day of the week...it's just a lot harder to find first person slashers.

Digi... the Geforce4 Ti 4200 (128MB) is a really great card! Seriously it has some great potential. One warning... do not expect huge amounts of IQ.... the Radeon has a much better IQ

I really miss the IQ of my aging Radeon 7500 64MB DDR retail.

But, I am looking to upgrade my video sometime in the near future, at which point I will be looking to sell my VisionTek XTASY Geforce4 Ti 4200se 128MB DDR.

It is screaming fast in a lot of Dx7, and Dx8 games... but I miss the IQ... I really do.

yeah ATI are hard to beat for IQ ill give them that.
