General Computer Question
Hey there guys,
So I reformatted my grandmas old Compaq computer with Win98 and now in her display properties I can only set the colours to 16 and the resolution only stays at 640. She no longer has any disks that would contain the graphic drivers. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance,

find out what kind of graphics card it has. you can get old drivers for old video cards everywhere (hell, i have pcs on my network at work that have RivaTNT2 cards, and the omegas work just fine for em)

Well, if you can tell us what card she has, or what the onboard card is, we might be able to find some drivers for you. Other system specs/model numbers/etc would also help. You may want to check out Compaq's site to see if they have Win98 Drivers for download.
