It's nice to have GPRS phone!
Last Friday (22nd). My ISP’s ADSL network had some kind of failure affecting connections in my area. I called to their tech support and I learn that they can start fixing it next Tuesday. Due some dispute in with the people that keeps it up and running. So now I use my failback connection my Nokia 6600 GPRS data modem! I can read my email, use messenger and come to here. And it only costs 4€/25Mb ... So I'm not loading images etc... flash is the only down side :P
[EDIT] 100 more post to full 1000

Yea it can come in handy indeed! This summer when my line was down due to some road work (they accidently cut the cable twice!) I had web access through my 3G phone, and it worked flawless.

Haha, yes Nokia makes very good phones indeed, but at the moment I preffer the k800i myself. I've used several Nokia mobiles in the past and they have all served me well.

I dont like nokias. I generally buy SE. They aren't necessarily as durable but if you're not prone to dropping them they have a bit more style than the competition and their reception is unbeatable. 1 bar still gets damn good calls.
Anyway I'm thinking of switching all the way over to 3g for internet. $20 a month for unlimited internet through 3g is tough to beat.

for a walkman a cell is tough to beat especially with bluetooth. how many battery hours does a walkman have compared to a cell.i personally can go two days without a charge with moderate use.i originally had vcast and open wave through verizon, but never really toyed with it due to lack of funds.it can do everything a media center should do like watch tv send emails multiplay games its made by motorola if i can find the serial # i'll post the model

I own mobile phones for a bit over a decade now and my current one SE W810i is my favourite. In general I prefer SE phones, great reception and if you take care of them they will server you well. I don't like NOKIA phones from a purely aesthetic pov. I know they are not, but they all look the same to me. Except Ngage, that i admit had it for a while.
