I've just bought my very first set up 5.1 speakers. I've an audigy and have been using some philips 4.1 for the past year or so. Well I picked up a set of logitech z-640's and would like to set them up for the best performance. I've heard there was/is some sort of 5.1 Cd that like does all the sounds and even walks you through setup for each seperate channel etc... Anyone heard of it? and where can I get one? preferably free DL of course

I think the disk that came with your Audigy has a bunch of crap on it. I dunno exactly what it all is, because I only use the disk for drivers. I don't like all of that extra Creative crap

Honestly, shuki, you don't need such a disk that walks you through all of those things. Just read the instructions for your speakers and soundcard and you'll have more than enough information to get you optimal sound.

well I know I have the information to set it all up optimally its just I know there is some sort of audio CD specifcally for setting up 5.1. It runs all different sorts of sounds through the system so you can configure volumes, sub, faders etc just to your liking... thats what I was hoping to find a link to...
