This quiz is interesting. It aims to determine which sort of "american accent" you have by asking how you pronounce words. It worked for me:

This appears to be accurate, I have been told repeatedly that I do not have an accent. It is probably due to moving around too much to develop anything consistent.

For our non-US members, it would be interesting to see what region of the US different foreign accents match most closely to.

"North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.

lolz and I'm Canadian too. Weird cuz some chick from New Zealand that I was talking to on the phone the other day said I sounded like the people from Fargo and I thought that was ridiculous. Jesus Christ I talk like a freak.

Atlanta...and my dad was in the TV/Radio business for about 15 years [and lived in ohio for a good while]

Greece, with about 10 years living in England and Wales, combined with a canadian english teacher for 2 years in 1990-1.
I still think I sound like a mix between greek and welsh, with a touch of boston I guess lol.

North Central on the test... I had a friend sitting by me while I was taking it though, and while I answered that most of the choices sounded the same, she insists that I say them differently when I speak.

I'm French Canadian FWIW, with none of the Francophone accent.

It didn't get me. I'm told I have a jersey accent all the time when I leave the tri-state but this thing said I was midland. Could have used a few questions about caw-fee or chwenty.

I did, but thats properly not correct, because we pronounce a lot of orther words incorrect.

Midland may be how they categorize accents that are too muddled to fit in any category. (this isn't an insult, recall I got midland also).

I got midland, but they don't have the right questions to properly determine that I have a good southern drawl.

My result was ' The Northeast' despite me being 'midlands uk' since i was born.For me all the questions offered,the answers does not match my definition of the answers.
