Missing Utah teen found alive

March 12 â€” Elizabeth Smart, the 15-year-old girl who vanished from her Salt Lake City bedroom nine months ago, was found alive Wednesday with a drifter who had once done work at the familyâ€™s home, police said. â€œMiracles do exist,â€ said the girlâ€™s uncle Tom Smart.

Now that is definitely a miracle. That's almost a freakin whole year. I can only imagine what that family went through all this time. Simply amazing; glad to hear she's back home with her family

she was always there....how in the heck did she remain anonymous and obscure among the masses of people in Salt Lake City....lots of folks probably came in contact with her....give her wealthy parents credit for keeping her name alive in the media, or we would still be seeing her picture at WALMART...if she was a poor kid or an illegal alien, I doubt anyone would really care less

I'm happy they found her as well. Was'nt she found about 15 miles from her home? Amazing the kidnappers were so confident to take her out in public that close to were she lived.
