Computer Powering Offf Help !!!!!

ive got an abit ab9 pro motherboard and as soon as i hit the power button it turns off and shows the post code of 8.7 check cpu core voltage!! any1 any ideas what i should do????????????

Off topic isn't the place, I imagine it'll get moved

Have you tried to clear your CMOS yet before turning it on. It would reset your voltages in the BIOS and good stuff like that. Read the manual on your mobo to properly clear the cmos (I normally pull the power plug from the back, and pop my battery on the mobo, wait 30 seconds put it back in plug it in and viola). good luck remember KISS

There were pins to short out to clear the CMOS on most all the mobos Ive had.

BUT - I suspect its jumpers that set the CPU voltage.

?? I dunno - after reading this...
