wow, i don't get placed to be at a younger age! lol. people usually guess me to be at 27 or 28. my actual age is 25.

and, 56k warning means that for people who have 56k dial-up internet, this page will load up very slow because of the pictures. this is true for any page that has a "56k warning" label on it.

I probably got that close cuz I'm a Mom & Grandmom, and for some reason, when you get really OLD, you get some wisdom with the gray hair and stuff like that.
Is there anyway you can tell me how to get a pic of myself up on here? If it's too complicated, don't sweat it. I just got a call from my PC guy and they're almost finished my PC, however he's having problems re-installing STEAM for me. Sounds like a lot of the games are lost. Man, I hate to have to start over, as I've been playing Half Life, since it came out.
Oh well, it's out of my control at the moment.

Make sure you have the same STEAM account. Just in case they try to steal your account ( I guess you gave them the password, mistake) and the games asssociated with it.
If they give you any BS, don't take it. You must have the same account name and all the games you bought.

it's pretty simple to get a picture on here. first, the picture you want needs to be on your computer already. like transfered from your digital camera or something similar.

then, you need to have a picture host. i like to use imageshack for that. you click on the "browse" button they provide for you, and then you locate the picture you want uploaded and click the "ok" button.

once you've done that, the page will refresh with a few different options as to how you want to upload the picture onto the website here. i personally like to choose the very last option. imageshack likes to hide it from you a little bit by saying something like "don't click here, not for use" (i forget the exact wording but it's something like that). just ignore the wording and click on the + symbol they have there. another line of text will appear. and you will copy that line of text, then come back here on DH and in the reply box you will paste that line of text. and in order to have the image show up properly you must have it with the following tags:

[img]copied text goes here[/img]

and that's it. it sounds more complicated than it really is. and once you get the hang of it, you'll see it's really easy

Oh great. Old people don't only get wisdom, they get stupid too. Yes, I gave them my steam name and PW....I've been dealing with these guys for years. You don't think they'd.... Well, I'll give them a call, and warn them what I'm capable of doing with a purse and a frying pan, if they do something dishonest. That should scare them.

Nope, I tried...Don't have a clue how to do it, even after reading your note several times. I have my picture in "my picture folder"...There has to be an easy way to get it in here....It's probably so simple, and that's the reason I can't do it.

When they finish with it and you have all your games as should, change the steam password.

And about the cold turkey it aint all that bad if you ask me. Only had a cig and a half (saved 2's for my mate) while i've been at my gf's the last 3 days with my mates (She doesn't like me smoking so i try to be considerate and keep it to a minimum while i'm there). Problem is my asthma's really flared up so i'm coughin up loads of mucus and a slightly worrying amount of blood atm not nice
