The female shape-shifter

Since we're on TV shows....

'Space 1999' was a below average series but I use to love the shape-shifter with the crazy eyebrows. Best thing about the series. Probably the first time a species such as this was on TV.

Any other 'old bastards' recollect this show?

I do I loved that show. I disagree with the sub-standard. I used to have a toy (matchbox?) version of the ship they were always flying around in. Moon Base Alpha is about all I can recall of it.

I remember that show. I used to watch it all the time.....not that it was especially great, but it was a space show, so I watched it.

I'm not that old but I watched a few episodes a few years ago when they made a rerun of the serie and I found it interesting.

There are some old series that are very good. While on that subject, I think that I prefer the old battlestar galactica compared to the new one.

I assume that Tril is referring to the original concept which he found fresh and inovative while the remake is based on old ideas and is basically a rehash. I can honestly say I found the original crap and IMO the remake is just as poor.

Star Trek: Next Generation on the other hand built on a great original idea Gene Rodenberry which was built on and expanded with style. Like a drama based in deep space. Then came Voyager and Seven-of-Nine with her figure-hugging costume. What a yum-a-licious alien babe....

the new Battlestar Galactica does not have enough interesting effects or story to keep me interested. And Space 1999, well...when I found out it was not a Dr. WHO Spinoff it seemed more interesting..LOL. When the women called the alien space ships "U fo's" vs U F O, it was a laugh.
I spent three winters in Crete living with my father building models of different hyperbeloid shaps and designs to shoot my own 8mm science fiction movie, with some Harrihousen clay mation special effects too. I began to understand why these movies and shows that pulled off the temporary dismal of disbelief really worked.
Any science fiction show from the late 60s show on, with the exception of Buck Rodgers was worth watching...
Buck Rodgers had too much sexual enuendo for my Mum and Dad..LOL.

thats the funniest looking robot I have ever seen..LOL
oh yeah...where was I..hmmm.
Space 1999 was just boring as hell, but the girls with the purple hair sure made a pre teen oggle for me.

lol I remember buck rogers too. I liked Wilma Dearing when she had the tight white uniform on. Mmmm. heheheh
