Some good news I suppose

Well though I think most of you will probably not care it is important to me.

Looks like I'm getting promoted at my Job. I've been doing very well in my job and I have been doing nothing but work hard with as little complaining as possible (If I do its at least funny). Despite our higher ups attempts to crap all over us trying to pretty much force us to show subrscriptions and reserves down people's throats at min wage (pretty sad for being 20 huh? but I guess we all gotta start somewhere sometime) I managed to stay with it.

Anyways I did get promoted before but it was just a raise and a title. This time though I actually have manager duties and I am right below assistant manager. So I'm glad for that. Only thing is I will probably have hell rain down on me next time I mess up and I have a lot more hours. With work, school, and training I'll still have time for DH. Mostly before I sleep and when I wake up.

So I'm glad sorta but I got other things goin on that really suck though I'm sure I'll be able to deal with it.

Good thing about it though I may actually make enough to move out and carry myself through college for a while till I ship out.

Also, just wonderin how everyone's spring break was goin. Since the promotion I've been workin like a dog so I haven't really had time to enjoy it.

I'm kinda proud of my job though now. Sure it sucks, sure they are run by a bunch of bastard car salesmen with no souls but it allows me to help people that areeither shy, gamers, or don't know anything about games. For some reason I also like to educate parents on the rating systems and talk to to old timers about how awesome the wii is. Especially modern day culture. We haven't had this much family interaction since the days when board games were cool.

Workin there though I'm close to hating everything about games considering how much of my time it takes up talking about it at work.

I have a good position though, decent pay now (finally!) and a lot more responsibility. If anything its an awesome stepping stone because now I have managerial training.

The pressure is worth it but this is the perfect job right now for me while I'm goin to school.

i can understand the whole getting sick of Games thoughts....

whatever your job is, you CAN always have ENOUGH OF IT.
