Anyone from the UK having trouble signing into msn or accessing hotmail?

I just recently did, but i'm from canada.


it's really strange really.

What i did was reset my router/reset my local lan connection, and then i went into the Windows Firewall settings, reset the Firewall settings, and then browsed to Windows Live Messenger and put it in the exceptions list and tried again and it fired up no problems at all.

I get the error code '810003104' almost instantly when trying to sign into windows live messenger

I got Msn messenger only to work again..


but hotmail is still down...


edit:

looks like perhaps the eastern portion of the coast has some routing issues... i can't connecting to several other sites within that area, however microsoft service status says everything is operating perfectly.

lol... i've got someone here in my shop that is paying for computer/internet use atm. and one of the main reasons of coming in was to use hotmail... boy she was not happy that hotmail was down..... was beaming with happyness when it came up..

actually i'm still using hotmail's Live Mail BETA, imo it's excellent, it's like having Outlook express without actually dealing with the shittyness of downloading emails directly to the computer and dealing with local related garbage.... format and reinstall without any worries.
