testing 30" dells...

aww cmon, Saturday was a great day, Trade show was one and i was able to present a full surround sound HD-DVD Movie experience via PC and a HDTV LCD 40". I swear i had more people around my booth then the other 120 or more other boths in the buildings.

Actually today, i'm in the process of cleaning up, after hauling everything to the trade show and back again, i basically hauled everything back into the shop without taking the time to put it back where it was, so the shops a disaster. So i've spent nearly the entire day so far cleaning, reorganizing, etc.

I'm actually waiting for a word back from 2 or 3 of the people that were seriously considering the Dell 30" though. One of them wasn't to keen of the thought of having to get a video card capable of 2560x1600 though. It's just to bad that currently, it appears that no ATI cards are capable of displaying HD-DVD Playback @ 2560x1600 without being horridly distorted.

I didn't enjoy working at burger king all that much, but i'm enjoying this so far

After being on dissability for a genetic syndrome for a couple years now, I'd do anything to work again. I miss working big time. Nex year I'll be headed back to college to work on my history degree so maybe I'll be able to teach atleast part time.

Be happy you have to work

We were testing the new amd 4x4 with 2x 8800GTX and that new OCZ heatpipe ram, and a 32" dell. I was fairly depressed seeing the performance of the cpu. Should have an article out this month on it.

It cant be all that bad can it? I have days when I dont really enjoy being at work but I am fortunate in that I can break from a routine and play a game for 15-20 min on a decent computer when needed. Mind you there are times when dealing with 12-15 youth at a time can be more than a handfull.

Kind of apt. I got a new job today after being off work since November. I try to keep a little savings fund going and take some time out every 6-7 years. For the last 5 months i've done what I want to do, built a new PC, owned and raced a Honda Integra, done loads of decorating and generally relaxed. Going back to work on tuesday with £5000 left in the bank and 10 days in Jamica booked for August 3rd.
Gotta have a balance people, can't work your arse off your whole life then realise your too old to appreciate it.
