Prolly, I once set up a public lan party at my school and 80% of the people that came in had absoloute crap totally unoptimized systems and they had no idea about anything computer related, not only that but almost all of them only had single player games, and not even good ones at that. It was a disaster to say the least.

Probably a modified version of CounterStrike called "BibleStrike", where the terrorists are any filty non-christian heathens, and they need to be "purified" by pelting them with bibles of all sizes!

i / we were playing .25 but went to a lan called GIGfyte and and picked it up .3. I can't rember the last time i went to a lan and we didnt play Desert Combat

I am of the opinion that anyone who OWNS a PC in their house for more than two years, plays on it constantly, and doesn't know how to keep up on it's maintenance/updates and don't understand file management should have their PC taken away from them. There are just some people that should not own a PC. I've known some people that you will explain a process to them and the VERY NEXT DAY they are asking you the same exact question, AGAIN.

As far as LAN play, well....I don't really play games online, not because I can't, but because I don't really care for online/LAN gaming. (Yeah, I know, I'm weird) I think the last "LAN party" I had was with some racing game (can't rem what it was, probably one of the "Need For Speed" games). I'm a little too anti-social for that "multiplayer" stuff.

I like my secluded single-player games.

Well there in my area are there are some really great people that around here. ...i mean some lans you go to and they suck just because the some of the people have horrible attudies....theres a really good coming up next month the 3rd i think....200+ if you live in the Indiana area you should really check it out.....http://www.psychopro.com/
