IRC Chat Disscussion

Ok i would like everyone here on DH to use the IRC or at least give it a try. I know its not probably you favorite way to chat. But i would like you all to post the times that it would be connveint to you be on there and try to start a disscussion over a topic. I know that the times for some DH members will conflict. But lets face i think that the IRC server is being wasted. I think it could become a bigger part . Anyway i would like to know everyones feelings on this.

I am surprised that your irc channel has not become more popular, I'm there every now and then but usually only @DH-Bot is there it seems

ya i have talked to a few in there mainly ToshiroOC and Byte me. And im trying to make an effort but for some reason when i try to connect i get a connection refused error.

I go in there when I have some free time, but recently I've been bogged down in RL with work

Once things clear up, I'll try and make a point of idling/chatting in there

IRC is back up, it was down when we restarted the server a while ago. Andrew has fixed it so it should reboot automatically on a server reboot

I think it ran the trivia in the trivia channel, and it used to brutally beat IRC chatters with trout...

You all got a big mouth that we need to join the IRC channel, but for now i am all alone! And i am there more often, all alone :S Just join in, and idle so it looks like peeps come alot, than more and more will come for sure, make some nice chats, make it a place where u login everytime cuz there cool peeps etc!

JUST kidding- I know what it is, (internet relay chat right?) I just have to say I have NEVER had it installed on my computer-ever- I think it is about time I start - Where is the best place to get it? Is there different versions? Can you share files and things over it?

Although i didnt speak much with him (i was on dh business searching out Patje!!!)
i will verify that the guy was on and was there when i left ... approx 20 mins later!!

Well, if you have Trillian, it has an IRC client included.
I know it's prob not the best, but heck, you're ready to go in a couple steps

I have never got the Trillian one to work and GS yep im holding down in there lol. And i think im gonna kick renegade in the nuts cuz all he does is go in there and set himself as admin....lol j/k
