Hrmm, looking at the screenshots . . . does this mean the movie was shot in 1.85 format, and not 2.35?

I edited the letter boxing around the frames to lower the image size if that's what you mean?

I really hope they dont screw it up. I mean the hype machine is a crewl mistress. If you hype something to death and deliver your praised more heavily and if you hype and deliver... daktania... Which isint a bad game its just not... great. Your shunned and are now making games for the palm pilot.

So I'm going to go the anti-hype with this one and thus lower my expectations... Its just like what I'm going to do with the new terminator movie. (MAN who wrote the script to the peice of garbage? heh)

That is fast, but usually I am limited by the site I am downloading from- so the speed is anywhere from next to nothing to 300 kb/s or so-- But when I started this download it jumped to 420kb/s and very slowly went down to aroung 330 kb/s or so- but still- very fast server to download from, I got the whole thing in just over 4 minutes (while sufing around and posting here and stuff)--

Now I have to go watch it

Ahhhhhh! I hate Quicktime and I hate realplayer-- But I guess I have to install quicktime to see this thing-- I have gotten along without it for many months-- I knew this day would come--- fighting Quicktime not to take over my computer and start with windows and always try to be on and running in my system tray taking up my recources.. Grrrrrrr.............

*edit-- I figured I might as well complete the act by installing realplayer too- there have been a few things in the past few months that I needed it to see-- I just went to their site and it confirms my mistrust and hatred of anything with "real" infront of it-- Akk,, stupid website makes you search through 35 "buy this" or "free trial" or "one time- 19 dollars" offers for there crappy software!!!! Oh well, just thought I would express my hatred for these dumb companies--

----- Isn't there a universal player that plays all these formats??? Windows media, Quicktime, Real, all of them in one player that doesn't try to take over my computer? There must be somewhere.

BTW

Don't try and take a screenshot while the clip is playing...you'll get a black screen. The clip must be stoped - you have to use the left/right arrows on your keyboard to navigate through the trailer.

Yeah, I tried that, with the picture paused -- 10 times! I got the black creen even then. It was only black inside the QT window though..

I think there is a way to make fraps take a pic of a movie playing, but I don't even know if QT will go full screen.

The Matrix was always one of my favorite movies. I watched it a whole bunch of times (not in a row though)-- And I am not the kindof person who does that)----

I liked Terminator 2 when it came out 2-- also an excelent flic.

The clip must be completely STOPED, not paused - you can not play the file at all. You must open the clip (by double clicking it) then use the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard to select the frame you want a screenshot of. The clip can be played in fullscreen by pressing Ctrl+F, but once you do that the clip will automaticly be played...since this happens no screenshots can be taking of the clip in fullscreen.

Yeah, that is what I did, and I got the black screen for some reason. I used the arrow keys to select the frame. Then captured and saved the screenshot and closed paint.
Then I opened the files and it showed the desktop- the frame of the media player and the big back screen in the frame. But when I save it, the picture was there, weird... I did just download the very latest version and during the instal turned off every available option except playing the .mov files, and they weren't even associated with QT when I first tried to play them, weird. Maybe I should reinstall QT- I unchecked an option calles something like 'associate files with IE' or something like that, I'll have to see what it was- I don't think it made any difference anyway. I'll have to try the screenshots again and see if it works next time.
Thanks.

No, as long as you didn't cut anything from the left or right sides of the frame . . . I think it is 1.85
