I feel so betrayed right now....
I really can't find the words i would like to say right now.....it feels like i just wanna die...
My girlfriend of the past 7 years just dumped me....we have had som issues through the years but never anything serious. The weirdest thing is that she talked to me about buying a house and eventually getting kids just a couple of weeks ago...it started yesterday with that i noticed that she was acting all weird..so i confronted her with why she was acting like that...and she answered that she felt confused with our relationship and so on...we discussed it and she said that she had to be alone for a while and think.... And a couple of hours ago i talked to her on the phone and she didn't know how she felt...most of you know the feeling in your stomach when you're starting to realize something like this...not funny at all... And i expected her to come home and tell me that she wanted our relationship to end...but no...she decides to not answer her phone anymore,and i talked to her friend were she is right know,and she tells me that Linda(my gf) won't talk to me because she couldn't bare to se me so miserable....i got the point...it ended right there  And this was over ICQ...you propably only can guess how it feels when your lifepartner for the last seven years dumps you through a friend over ICQ....i hate life for the moment, i really don't know how to handle this..  Sorry for the rant guys...but i just had ventilate. Life sucks!!!! ...It sucks alot...

Wow. I'm sorry man. I've been having slight problems with my girl lately. I have the feeling I'll be miserable also. I really don't know what to say to help you. I wish I could. But we all know, life goes on. Hope things can pick up for you man.

Hey, sorry to hear that man. Hope it works out for the best in the long run. Life does suck /w those curveballs sometimes.
7 years? Damn that is a long time--- I've been with my GF for almost three and all she talks about is MARRIAGE! I don't think I would last even close to 7 years without taking the big plunge, actually, I don't think I'll make it till the end of THIS year without doing that.. Then again I am 30, so.... maybe it's different over there. Anyway, good luck. |

Been married a couple of times, been dumped lots, and had lots of fun too, I wish there was a magic formula for turning these situations 180 degrees around, but the worst thing is living with a person that doesnt care about you, better to be honest, women have expectations, they need things and sometimes they just won't express everything all at once. It is probably sobering to know that this was something that started at day one of our relationship. you can bet on it. she has one or two friends that opened her eyes to another alternative, or another lifestyle...without you...sometimes people take what they want and then leave man....don't fall into the rebound trap, be honest with our feelings, talk to someone you trust, cry your eyes out, or do something constructive, but don't dwell..it will eat you alive...from the inside out, then you will be an emotional donut...not worth it man...restablishing a friendship with this person might be a mistake, if she wants you to call her or write her or talk to her, she will come and find you. control issues raise their ugly heads...start back on your feet man...stay focused..

What you are feeling Cartman is very similar to grief and the healing process is exactly the same, but it does take time. Trust me, you will feel better and you can always drop in here to vent if you want.

We've all been through this at one time or another.
Cartman you have a choice to make. I know for the first few days you are going to feel like being alone and that is alright. However, don't keep to yourself for too long. You need to occupy yourself, think about work and go hang out with your friends. I've always found if you just do something to keep yourself busy it really helps. I know you'll keep thinking what could I have done? You've done everything you could, just trust me on that. Remember she is the one that gave up not you so you have nothing to be sorry for. So you can hold your head up high that you wasn't going to give up and it's her loss not yours. You know the best thing for you to do is show your not hurting at all and that will say everything to her. If she wants to come back then she has to do all the hard work of getting you back. |

Man i am sorry to hear about this and what is happening to ya cartman. You know we are all here for you and if there is anything i can do to help let ya vent at me on messenger or whatever let me know. I for only being 26 have went thru more than you can probably imagine and let me tell you as the others have it gets better and dont just set around blaming yourself. I know it is hard but that which doesnt kill you makes you have a more wealthy soul. Just try and focus on the good from the time you had together and always remember there is another chance, another day and it will get better. I know this is easy for all of us to tell you but try and take this advice as best as you can!

I feel sad every time I hear something like this... It was only a few months ago the girl I was engaged to left me for someone else. It all ended up getting a lot more complicated than just that, but that's a story for another day.
 Anyway, I feel your pain, and you have my sympathy. It does get better with time though, I promise. |
