A DEFINATE MUST SEE!! COOL! (not a gag flash this time!)

This is really cool, you may have seen it, you may not have, I hadn't seen it- but I live in the US and this seems to be a UK ad. Still really cool- Even if you don't like Hondas.

One of my favorite car manufacturers happens to be Honda though, after I owned a Honda Prelude 2.0si that I put 150,000 miles on and sold it 2 years ago, the guy still has it and it still runs great. I can't wait until I can buy a new one someday-

Anyway- enjoy the show!

click here to see a cool ad

I thought you guys over there might have seen it on TV or something judging by the original Internet address-

I had never seen it over here though, it may have run on our channels somewhere- but maybe not.

**it looks real, but I don't understand the 7th or 8th step where the tires go UP the ramp?? ??
They don't seem to have enough momentum to knock into each other hard enough to make it all the way up the ramp like that. Maybe it would be more clear on the original TV ad.

There was an article about this in a paper in the UK this week - it took them 600+ takes to get it right

600 takes!! Wow- that must have cost a fortune- I wish I could see it in better quality, maybe in divx high res or .wdm or something. Still- I thought it was cool even in the flash format-------

I'm guessing the tires were weighted, so that when the previous one hit it, the weight would make it move upwards.

Yup, I looked at it a few more times, and that is the only thing it could be- those things just climbed right up that angle--

Hmm, I just watched it again for the 8th time- It works fo rme just fine. I want to find a better (higher res) version of it though.

If there was some way of e-mailing it to you would, but I don't think you can "save" a flash movie like that.

You can "save" flash movies.... that is look in your internet cache folder for the file (it was 4,132,355 bytes for me). I "save" lots of interesting flash files all the time. To view them just drag them into a flash enabled browser like IE or Mozilla.
Really cool commercial btw...
