Food Stamps question.

Hey guys, my grandma just got Foodstamps about a month ago. She is due to receive them this month on the first. But the first falls on a Sat, and the banks, etc are all closed til Tuesday. Does this mean she will receive them early on Friday instead? Or late on Tuesday? Or is it automatic where it will still be on the 1st?

I want to help her this weekend shopping and I just wanted to make sure before we go if anyone knows that would be great thank you!

I personally receive my SSD/SSI early if the 1st or 3rd falls on holiday or weekend, so not sure if it's the same with the Foodstamps or not.

arent the food stamp programs managed state by state, I think most venders are familiar with food stamps know the schedule. I wish you could google that one man...good luck.

Yeah I think it is state to state. I tried google with no dice

What are those food stamps? Are they similar to USSR time food stamps where people were only able to buy anything if they had a stamp to show?

in cali it's the first business day of the month if the first falls on a weekend or holiday.
