If someone is offended by how someone else is celebrating, that's tough for them. but it goes both ways with some of these people pushing it onto those that don't..... And i don't think any religious group should bitch about not getting "majority" "advertising"....

And no, i don't think any immigrant that moves to another country should be forced into the melting pot..... that just kills the deversity, and increases tensions. The only thing any immigrant should know how to do is at least SPEAK (communication is key) the majority national language...... or else live with a very hard life trying to understand other and for them to understand you. Aside from that, keep your religion and culture, and share with anyone that is interested and asks about it.

Polish/swedish immigrants i can live with. There's a polish guy in my school who's family immigrated and he's a cool guy, he works hard in school (unlike me) and he's quiet but he's polite when he speaks and he speaks perfect english in an understandable accent.
What pisses me off is the way people ring up from india and start speaking in some impossible-to-understand accent.
Honestly, one rang up right, i answered the phone and went "Lo" and the tard went "Am i speaking to mrs. x (mum's name)?", i'm normally polite but in that instance i went.. "Does it SOUND like your'e talking to mrs. x...?" and they simply hung up...

There are many many type of voices and some of them that you would swear it is a man/woman, it is the opposite.

Well, Christmas did evolve from a roman holiday that was a pagan celebration deemed so to revel in the love between two men. It included drinking alcohol, smoking opiates and having homosexual and/or incestual sex among males. Not quite the setup we know it as now, is it?

Things change, guys. Traditions change. People change. They(mostly) get smarter as time moves along. But truly, the issue here is the petty differences in culture and tradition that we all share in being human. The fact of the matter is that we shouldn't be so easily offended by other people's daily activities and routines, unless they're molesting children or something. How's the old saying go...?
