TNG, "grew up" with it, it was great help for me at the time.
Interesting stories, humour, action that was good but mostly it was there for story purposes, a captain that is far cooler than any other since or before, I could go on but i will sound very bad. Basicaly, my favourite series of all time. Star Trek or not.

My favorite has to be a tie between Voyager and Enterprise. I liked Voyager because it through them out in uncharted space. It was great to see them explore the really unknown at the same time trying to get back home. Enterprise, though short lived, had some great characters. The first 3 seasons were great, especially the Xindi Story Arc. I wish they would of brought out Enterprise in HD when they supported Blu-ray. I would of bought it then.
Also, I think it's stupid that Paramount doesn't release TOS in it's proper production order. If you've watched it on the latest DVDs that were released they put the order in it's original aired order which is really out of sequence. There are characters and events that don't match up in some of the episodes. I think some of the early episodes kill off a character but later that person shows up like nothing happened.

The Next Generation is really the only Star Trek I can stand.
I never used to watch it until it got cancelled and there's simply no better show to watch after a rough day. Plus, all those "Q" episodes were a blast. There's barely a character who wasn't essential to the enjoyment of the series, that's more than you can say for the rest of the Star Trek's. The plots were also quite varied and there were plenty of ideas put forward that later Star Trek's copied. If you ask me, all the Treks which followed TNG were in its shadow and never connected with the average guy viewer like that one did.

TNG for sure; I loved watching that show. The originals are my second choice. The Borg and Q episodes are some of the most memorable TV moments of my childhood

I had to vote for the Original Series. Without that one, there'd be none of the others.
![]() I don't think I missed an episode on its first broadcast of any of the original series. It was one of those shows the whole family waited for in order to sit down -- or lie on the floor -- and watch together. When TNG came along, I was a very busy working man and never even got to watch very many of the first broadcasts at all. But, I do enjoy it in re-runs. I think, however, my next favorite would have to be Deep Space Nine. I just really did get a chance to get 'into' that series much more than the others. Again, likely due to work schedule. |

The original series, you just can't beat Kirk and those alien hotties he always bagged. It was 20 years before my time but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the re-runs while growing up.

I find it hard to follow the series (well any series for that matter, the last series I watched completely was FarScape), and prefer the movies as the series are generally drawn out.
And I saw previews or a commercial for Star Trek : Enterprise...and is it me or does this series look completely out of character for Star Trek and seems to have taken on the appeal of todays TV shows. PS: And not to mention I am a Star Wars fan myself

Star Trek - The Next Generation is by far the best series of them all. What, with Q tossing them around distant corners of the galaxy, the Borg pwning a 40 Starship fleet, the HUGE and extremely well-written Commander Data backstory, Whoopi Goldberg playing a 550 year old alien and Worf being the biggest bad-ass ever, how can you lose? All in all, there is one episode of the series that made me think it was one of the best shows in T.V. history - Episode #8, Conspiracy. It's so dark and violent and with me being ten at the time, it not only scared me a little, but made me think it was SUPER COOL!!!
![]() Although, when Lore tries to lead the Borg, it's pretty sweet too...

Oh yeah, bro. For me, it was kind of a tie between TNG and DS9...the final 5 episodes of that series are so rad. Plus, the Breen and the Jemhaddar...brutal space battles!

TNG for me, but only just over Enterprise. TNG was without doubt one of the best written shows of all time and i still watch it most days. Enterprise came close though becasue of Series 3 and 4. For anyone who stuck with it through S1+2 the later episodes were excellent because you were fully involved with the characters and progression... seeing Archer progress from the average captain in s1 to a deep and sometimes very dark captain who would stop at nothing to save earth was great. There was also a lot of Star Trek history covered in S4 with particular mention for the Vulcan trilogy, Soong Trilogy and Klingon/Clone trilogy. Its a shame that it got cancelled really because when you look at the S3/4 of Enterprise compared to s3/4 of the other non TOS series Enterprise is only matched by TNG, it took Voyager and DS9 much longer to get as good... if at all.
Right show, wrong time

Both of them are fine speciments for Star Trek officers, and great looking women. I prefer Jolene, but that doesn't mean I don't like very much Jeri.
