Well I just applied for my first "real" job.

So hopefully no more kmart for me


The position I applied for is as a mastering engineer in a studio, so basically I'll be getting the finished mixes of tracks from a mixing engineer, put the final touches on, clear the mix up as best as possible, try to keep the volume pretty much level, and then make it as "loud" as possible without distorting the sound - the final stage before pressing to CD.

I really hope I get this job - finally get to do something I love.
