Christmas Parties

Are any of you guys having/going to any christmas parties this year?
I've been invited to one on saturday with a few mates of mine from school, and yes it'll be a proper party with some alcohol for once

I'm really looking forward to it

What have you guys got planned?

I'll doubtlessly find a party to go on on Christmas, as I won't be home, and the ski hill won't be open on Christmas day.

We had one planned this year, but my roommate couldn't get off of work any weekends (he's in retail). We delayed it until after christmas, my birthday falls on a saturday this year

Just got a call from my wife saying we were invited to a party for my good friend who's home from "Down Under". I don't usually go to X-mas parties other than for family, but I'm looking very forward to this one.

I love this time of year, its always nice to get together with friends and family and just have a good time. It seems people in my family are beginning to figure out that you don't need to go nuts to have a great holiday season, which is nice on everyone.

The Glögg's nice too!

Whats that, like a Vodka? I prefer it with Vodka, or and clear booze, to whisky and the like. Either way, it warms you up. Too much of it get me in trouble though. Especially in the morning

I dont advocate a lifestyle based on drinking, nor do I drink anymore, that is what I usually find at Christmas parties, poeple who just want to get drunk and pee in the yard or throw up in the rose bushes.

Right, I certainly don't drink like I did before I had to be a "grown-up". Definetly a good thing though. Partying is much more fun when you don't do it everyday for years on end. Same goes for X-mas parties. They're fun, in moderation

I just told my mum more about the party i'm going to on saturday and she's alright with it as long as i don't get completely wankered, which is ok since i don't want to get wankered when i'm walking home
