I got a lot of useful clothing this year - slippers, hoodies, golf shirts, toques, winter wear and chocolate. I actually got no electronics this year - probably the first year ever...strangely I'm not the least bit disappointed

So far (most of my get togethers aren't happening til the 29th/30th) I've gotten:

A really really nice leather coat. It's so soft, and I finally have something to go with my black leather driving gloves. It even has a pocket for my mp3 player with little loops up the inside for running the headphone wire.

200 dollars cash from grandparents. I used 150 of it to buy a brand new Acer laptop. (it's good to work at Circuit Sh*tty sometimes) and the other fifty went to a nice wireless logitech keyboard / mouse combo (idk what it's called, it's 60USD)

A fifth of Svedka (Swedish vodka, get a real drink darklord :P )

And the reason I needed the wireless keyboard and mouse is that I bought myself an early Christmas present right after thanksgiving. A 42" 720p Panasonic plasma. My PC is hooked up to it as a media center machine. It works as an upconverting DVD player and I have a great surround sound set of speakers for it, so everything is groovy. I got the TV for 900USD, which is around 500 short of retail.

We also finally got an Internet connection on the 14th, so that makes the whole season better.

I went through the insanely packed Best Buy & Future Shop crowds today to buy a camera or 22inch LCD monitor. I went with the Canon Powershot SD1000 + 4gig memory card. The lineups were terrible, one bitch held up our entire line for over 20 minutes! It was over 30 minute wait with just a handful of people ahead of me.

I was very pleased to open the boxes of a brand new Core 2 Duo E4500 and a Zalman Super Aero Flower (renamed from CNPS9500 i think) cooler. The zalman was a complete SLAG to install, especially considering i left the instructions at my grandmas rofl

, i pulled through though and i'm getting a nice 30 degrees total

I also got a new dressing gown which i've needed for ages, a new beanie (hat fyi), a 23 piece PC Tool kit which has already been used to put my grandma's rig in her new case and the install all my stuff. Oh, and a shit load of DVDs including the simpsons movie (woot!) and a Raidmax scorpio 668.

I think i need to lie down, this zalman's making me come over all flustered ;p
Ah i forgot, about £55 give or take

I'm saving up for an 8800GTS y'see
