i was gonna make a thread but you beat me...well I saw it and as a show I think it sucked balls. but let me get this out of my system: that car is the one of the most godly incarnations I have ever seen. Sleek and agressive. But this is what ruined the show

1. Ford product placement up the ass, including Volvo and really showing brand new off the lot Fords. Like cmon, Transformers had the License from GM but did they didn't show it off.
2. Too childish, even me being 21 I'll tell you the show is way too Childish
3. Slow slow slow movie, a lot of it dragged on
4. KITT didn't use Turbo Boost! WTF!~!~!~!

The Ford Focus commercials were more entertaining, and I still can't stop dreaming about this new Shelby GT500KR. And at least it was in HD

I watched the episode online and it was really dumb. Kitt could do 300 mph with superspeed and turbo boost over a house and cars and can't get away from a ford suv? HAH! What is with the whole "I was programmed not to harm people"? Give me a break, kitt in the original series was kicking everyone's butt.
Throwing open doors to knock the enemy down etc.

The only way the Knight Rider movie could have gotten a positive review from me would be if David Hasselhoff got drunk and drove KITT around at 300mph mowing down innocent bystanders. It was terrible even when compared to the original (which I used to love as a kid).

I don't mind the car commercial premise or even the cheese factor but at least throw some freaking senseless violence into the show...no one dies on screen even when there's a head-on collision which everyone would have been killed (I guess that doesn't sell cars).

yea only the main bad guy and the old dude live... 2 key characters. cmon... its too fairytale like. kitt didn't do enough IMO, no jumping. he just drove around mostly.

lots of stupid plot holes as well the biggest being when the killers turned up at KITT's creators house he used his double and ran out the back door and tried to escape on foot ................................ ermmmm why not use KITT the super bulletproof car parked in your garage ????

I'd say at least a day and a half went by before the FBI got involved yet the old man ran out his mansion to the cabin immediately...was he supposed to have been lost in the woods all that time?

I still don't get how the killers were at the casino before they were...can you really track someone so well you'll get there before them?

I liked that Kilmer is involved but there's absolutely no feeling that he's conversing when reading the lines; I'll forgive it since he was a replacement voice actor and may have had to rush through the reading.
