Breaking up is hard to do...

I just broke up with my g/f of ten months two days before Valentine's Day. After all the "debate and discussion", she told me that she didn't want to give up on us and that there's still a chance that we'll work out. First of all, this parallel confused me, since every break-up I've ever had has been very clean or very messy. Secondly, what the hell does that mean? She lives 120 miles away, sleeps with another guy two days before we break up and then tells me that "We're like Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. They were apart for like a year and THEY ended up together again".

Does anyone else think that I should be a little confused/scared/angry?

uhh...... so she sleeps with another guy huh? i dont think sticking together is a good idea unless you are ok with these weird polygamous relationships......

Just end it. She is obviously not 100% sure that what she has with another guy will last so she is trying to have something to fall back onto if something goes wrong.
If you accept her/back down, you are an idiot.

No dude, if she sleeps/slept with another guy she doesn't have the faith required to make the relationship work and i'd advise you to end it.
