Or worst yet, they're made to wait in a long line to talk to a clerk at city hall, and then, once it's finally their turn, they are told they have been waiting in the wrong line all along, and must wait in another line, right next to the one which they are already in. After more waiting, they finally get to the front of the new line, just to notice that the clerk has left to get her hair done, and won't be in 'till Monday, so they'll have to wait and think about it (you know, being dead), all weekend long.

Man, thats the pits.

It does raise an interesting question, what do we do with all the bodies? Especially now that the environmental movement is complaining about the impact of crematoria on the environment!
