I have seen worse, certainly after living in Japan for six years the TOKYO firebombings were worse, some shrines to the dead are still off limits to westerners. But if you are inferring that bloated and burnt corpses are more appropriate then I beg to differ, it is morbid and grotesque, but then all of war is that, and the cost in lives on innocents.

I see that you don't know History so well.... Tokyo was basically burned down during WWII when the B-29 bombers dropped tons of firebombs causing huge fires all over Tokyo. The area devastated was much bigger that what the nukes did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
