It was pretty good, certainly the best quality I've ever seen from an American production; I caught it when it was on SpikeTV. If you liked Afro Samurai check out Berserk and Basilisk.

Its been out for a while. The story drones on but everything else is kickass.

I travel all the time, I have been here for a week at home and I got to see some Samurai stuff on Sky, and they played the whole movie I suppose of Afro Samurai, pretty cool. When you work for a living its hard to find time to devote to the tele or even movies now. AS kept me glued to the screen, very fresh stuff, it didnt drone for me at all, but then I dont watch a great deal of tele.

Yeah, it was good, Berserk was a classic that I'll never forget especially the soundtrack, if you want some other good ones Samurai Champloo has the same hip hop theme though I don't know if theres an english translation, I myself don't mind reading subtitles and I'm sure you wouldn't either, and Samurai X is also an old time favourite and classic anime thats along the samurai lines, you should watch both and you won't regret it.

Ya thats true there are some sweet samurai anime out there but my all time best is samurai X it old but good except toward the end
