Podcasts on a Sansa
Well it took some tweaking but i decided to do the mod today that makes the Sandisk Sans scrollwheel silent. all went well (after 2 tries, nearly lost the wheel as well ) and now i've got a nice smooth, silent scroll wheel. yay

I've also downloaded MediaMonkey and i've been improvising with getting podcasts working on my Sansa.
I don't know how it works with an ipod and to be frank i'm not gonna bother finding out since i'm so anti-apple (Sorry Stick, had to be said) but it's good. You aren't supposed to get video with em are ya? lol

I used to not like apple but once I heard the sound quality on the ipod and on itunes I changed over and just will never go back. Its either high bit rate media on an ipod with enough space (a 32gb ipod touch or 80gig classic) or a disc man, I think I'm turning more and more into an audiophile every day, I'm currently using Phillips SHE-8500s, they look nice, come with a carry case and even though don't sound like the next best thing after heaven, are extremely superb for their price and above all they don't irritate my adorable little ears. Okay, maybe they're not that little on second thought lol. I use the medium plugs that came on them.

Am I missing something? Aren't podcasts glorified mp3s with people talking? Shouldn't ALL mp3 players play...mp3s?

a "podcast" is just a regular MP3 download, though there's usually some schedule to it, kind of like a radio programme

and as for anti-apple - I've never owned an iPod, and never plan to - iRiver H340 ftw
