Oh my what an ending of the BG on SCIFI plus looks like a movie after they show up on Earth I can't give out what happens just incase those people didn't see yet.

Isn't there another 10 odd episodes to be aired some time next year? There's something on Wiki about it the last ten episodes. We still don't know who the last Cylon is yet either.

I am unconvinced that those 4 guys and gals are actually part of the Final Five. Aside from the music in their heads they have no other proof. Also, that Jailed Cylon got pregnant by Colonel Tye but how can that happen if they're both Cylons? It's well known that Cylons can't reproduce. When Tye was about to be flushed out the airlock I was yelling at my tv "NOOOOOoooo" he's become the best character on the show I'm glad they didn't kill him.

Not that that wouldn't have been a good ending to the series but I'm glad it's not over yet, there's still many unanswered questions and 10 episodes is more than enough to wrap it all up.

The fact that we have to wait 8-10 months to see the rest is kinda silly though.

I think from the 3's reaction during the episode we are sure they are 4 of the final 5. She was the confirmation that we were waiting on. As for the pregnancy, we already know that the 4 are different in many ways, including ageing so there is no reason to believe they cant reproduce.

That's mostly to do with the writers strike, there were even rumours at one point that they wouldn't be able to complete the 10 if the strike had gone on for longer.

Loved Edward James Olmos performance in this ep, was awesome (and not for the first time).

See the thing is she saw those 5 in her vision but does that make them Cylons? It's just a vision after all Anyway, I doubt they're gonna pull the bait and switch on us and it turns out it's actually 5 different people but who knows.

His acting was great but I did not like the editing; he went from shocked to full fledged alcoholic in a matter of seconds, what should have been sad came off funny. It's a shame that this episode wasn't just 15 minutes longer I don't like it when finale's rush through reveals, the viewer needs time to soak it up.

The thing about Adama is that his strength come from or is because of others. He is strong in front of the fleet for obvious reasons and he draws strength from people like Tigh and Roslin. If you think back to the episode with the visions of Adamas wife it is clear he has a lot of issues but puts on a strong persona to hide them.

During this episode he was close to loosing Rolslin and Tigh delivered the killer punch which effectively brought his support structure crumbling down, something which only Lee could fix in the end, a real change in their dynamic which is great...and overall it was pretty realistic... anger > distraught > suffering all in quick succession as he had no-one and then the depression/alcohol which he was snapped out of when the fleet needed him and he had the strength of Roslin and Lee to support him. Additionally, leaders rarely have time to wallow in self pity, especially in times of crisis.

It is also quite similar to the huge emotional swings he has shown in past episodes which he always "recovers" from very quickly.

The I personally didn't think the editing took away from it, instead it added to the overall tension of the episode because there was so much to get through and wishy washy dialogue etc would really have taken away from the episode.

I wasn't expecting this to happen. I was thinking perhaps they would reach earth in pre historic times, or future times, or as the original series did, but not this.

The XO was my favourite character since the first season and I am glad that all didn't go shit for him.

I can't say the same for that little bitch though.

Good episode(s), just not very happy for the 6-7 months of delay till the last episodes. Not very happy that I will have to wait till next summer to be able to watch them, meh.

Great series.


About the editing, I believe the editing was very good, but it needed at least another 5 min or so in that part where the admiral "lost" it. I don't blame the editing cause something tells me there was nothing to put in there in the first place.
