A tragady, with a happy ending.

So, I just removed the shim from my r9700pro a few hours ago, thus the warrenty was void. My dad came home a little later and brought a new TV with him for my room. He hit my computer with the TV by accident, the computer falls over. Luckily nothing seemed to be damaged, untill I checked the video card, one of the capacitators had come loose on one side. I'm thinking I just was a victem of the absoloute worst possible timing ever.

I tried to push the capacitator back into place, and luckily the card still works and I was able to run 2 loops of 3dmark 2k3 without a crash or artifact.

EDIT: some spelling errors were fixed.

Well I'm fairly decent with soldering (I install modchips and afterburner kits for people) But I don't want to solder needlessly, I'm happy with it working how it is. If it breaks, then I'll solder it, but not now.
