Howdy all, i'm n need of some help

i have a compaq presario c500 note book

it crashed i got a new hard drive installed and installed windows XP v3 on it stead of the vista do to the vista restore dics was bad =0( so anyhow things are wroking right im missing for drivers and Hp Compaq are not much help

in the device manager there are a few yellow ? marks

SM Bus Contorller has no drivers
Video Controller
Video Controller (VGA compatable)

any info or help would be very COOL COOL and THnX

Hello,

I am posting from France. I have just discovered this forum after a (very long) quest for a solution to my audio noises problem on a Asus P6T using the Realtek ALC1200 audio chip. I love to try new O.S. (W7-64 bits, Linux, etc...) although the sound pb does not come from here...
