Nonsense, its a sponsored "skin" (see the big letters in the header?), we have did them before for Intel and a few other companies. I've done administrative stuff before when i was running my own forums with my mate, people would come and download our files and stuff we made for free then bad mouth us on the forums.

Joke or not it's extremely frustrating and admins like Z that spend so much of their time keeping wonderful communities like DH up and running shouldn't have to see people putting the site down.

Without sounding like a kiss ass here, I agree with Mousey, I dont think ive ever seen any guy running a large site like this as proactive and helpful as Zardon. There is almost daily content here now, all of which is extremely high quality. There are loads of wonderful support forums, and a nice friendly relaxed atmosphere with a great moderator team who aren't like some of the idiots ive seen on some tech sites.

You guys get it all for absolutely nothing, the dude says he is sitting working on a saturday night to put up content and he probably comes on to check the forums and sees comments of DH losing its soul, I also read he had a pretty nasty motorbike accident lately too (hope you are healing up there Z). I can see how that would offend me if I had put years into something as wonderful as this site.

Nice to see the gold members acting in such a respectful way too.

What a joke. On behalf of us all, keep the chin up Zardon, we all think you do a great job

This I had not contemplated. I don't think (and hope) IEMC intended his comment to be a dig at DH nor to cause any offence. It may have been something he posted quick without first thinking how it may be interpreted. I am hopeful that he will return to this thread to clarify.

Well im guessing zardon has gotten sick of reading crap like this thread from people who get an award for "site dedication". Not even sure why the gold award option is there in the first place, maybe because he isnt a total buttcrack like most other tech site owners and decided to reward people.

You guys need to spend a month on hardocp and deal with kyle bennett or even guru3d and Hilburt to realise the good thing you have going here, you even cough you get a ban, what happens here for saying Z has lost his integrity and has sold out? nothing, he just leaves the discussion and you all slag him off. I am absolutely friggin stunned that a regular member said that and you didnt think there was anything wrong with it. I am sure IEMC will return now and say it was a joke.

Let me just say, it wasn't funny. I would find it offensive too, I agree with Mousey and Alex. You guys all take this for granted.

Just want to offer my support to Z and the team, I think the company based skins are cool and they are easily switched off if you dont like them.

Yeah Z, dont let these people annoy you. Most of the fan base on DH doesnt hang in the off topic because of this kind of crap. I know I don't.

I won an amazing graphics card here and Z was kind enough to email me about it a few times. I dont know any other famous kinda site owner who would spend that time with a member. I was also over at hardocp and man if you said anything over there you got your ass handed to you and banned.

Ah well, such is life, people always take it for granted. I just hope one day things on here dont change and someone else runs the place. Z is the heart of DH. Without him, Craig5320 and Veridian 3, the site wouldnt be the place it is.

Just to clarify since I have a post on the first page that might put me in the wrong light I was really honestly shocked by not only that post but the title of this thread(tried to lighten it up), I thought IEMC and kris took it too far when they said what they did, as a person who engages in humor quite often I'll have to say there are some things that are just not funny at all. And believe you me I know what you mean when you talk of the status quo on other forums, have been a mod myself as well once so I know.

Btw I have STELLAR respect for Allan, you don't know the HALF of what I owe to him, if it wasn't for him my life would be in shambles right now.

Ill tell you what, nothing. We have a cool site skin which i like (and hope we keep when antec stop paying for it). I had a problem with my computer 3 months ago and I emailed Zardon. he helped me get the computer working via email. Looking back I took it for granted, but hell, if someone emailed me asking for help and I had to run this site I wouldnt have answered.

He emailed me last week asking if my computer was ok and if I got my games working. I mean thats a nice thing to do, he didnt have to do that.

I have a lot of respect for him and this site, its a small team here considering the size of the site if you look at it. I used to be on anandtech for all my tech stuff and I still visit it, but this place is special. really.

Have a bit of respect, we dont know the work to keep this place running, its insulting to say something about integreity and money, when its none of our business. I love the content here, im sure you all do, right?

Z has my support. he modded a driver for my nvidia macintosh laptop 4 months ago when I couldnt get a driver to work. Must have wasted 4 or 5 hours of his time. He was very friendly. Id love to know how many people he has helped one on one coming to DriverHeaven in email, in PM or whatever.

I love the reviews here, veridian3 is a genius and Grace does some of the best PSU reviews on the net. Every gamingheaven review from John is brilliant. Its a brilliant site guys, I was here in 2002 when it started and I thought it was going to just flop like the other 1 million tech sites that have started and faded into nothing in a few months. I was proved wrong, and im glad I was. Whats the reason for the sites success? A man who can organise and get the best people working for him.

Id ban the lot of you for insulting me, but im not as levelheaded as the people running this site.
