Terrible Flooding in Ireland
I know Zardon is probably comfortable in his orbiting space station but Ireland is taking a beating right now. I just spoke to a family celebrating a renewal of their vows in Belfast and they cant get out of the town right now. I turned on BBC 1 and saw some terrible flooding.

Man, that looks bad....hope people can make out okay. Been alot of tornado warnings and watches here in Saskatchewan, and there was one actual tornado couple weeks ago picked up a few barns and a dog house and flung a few miles away and all...the dog survived though.

been raining like mad, but as jeff says, in my castle on the hills, im not affected. gives me time to work on some articles anyway for the site.

Some bad floods nearby mind you.

Cor blimey! Save the stills!

We lived quite near a big river when I was a kid and it overflowed badly most springs so the villagers and reservists had to sandbag some places and let others just overflow. But it's worse in denser towns where rain or flood water has so much less natural drainage. There's been some fierce rainfall in west/north Europe this summer and I believe last year it was real bad in central Europe. I'm glad to be living uphill.

Only thing I have ever learned is dont build near the river.
Dont knock down burnt bridges
and always hunt bears with someone that runs much slower than you do.
